A journey through images, design and freedom
An exhibition journey dedicated to Vespa's 80th
anniversary, curated by internationally renowned
photographer Giacomo Bretzel in collaboration with Conde
Nast Traveller Italia. Designed to trace the evolution
of an Italian icon that has become a global symbol of
style, freedom and movement, the exhibition has taken
visitors on a visual journey across eras, cultures and
generations: from the origins of the legend to its place
in the contemporary imagination.
The story took shape through images from the Piaggio
Historical Archive and some of the most important
Italian and international archives, alongside an
authorial selection created in collaboration with
galleries and private collections around the world.
Photographs by great masters entered into dialogue with
images captured by Giacomo Bretzel, giving life to a
collective narrative that has passed through continents,
visual languages and generations.
